The Igloo Garden is an imaginative rooftop bar on the top of Budapest with view to the Parliament, Basilica, the Budapest Eye, a nice church, the Buda hills and much more. At summertime you can find parties every weekend here and now all winter they stay open, so people can enjoy the stunning perspective with drinks.

DESIGN OFFICE OF THE YEAR 2017
Stunning new office, photo/editing/sound studio in the heart of Budapest with amazing young owners and team.
"Our current concept is what we call Street Art Minimal. We have invited Hungarian graffiti artists to decorate the flat. In addition to their works, we have dismantled a Trabant-style vehicle (well known from the Communist Era and the butt of endless jokes) and used its components as small sculptural elements to ornament the walls. Yet, the automobile only provides the basis for the living room walls; the two graffiti artists added their visual reaction.
For those who crave the extraordinary in the course of their travels, an East German Simson Schwalbe (in the living room) and an illuminated stag named Rezso (in an alcove of the foyer) await them. The thoughtfully assembled furniture (the work of Hungarian designers from the 70s and 80s) is pulled together by a purely minimalist convertible settee.
The greatest challenge was how to create an installation of 21-century outdoor art in an interior – both the dialogue between abstract and figurative visions that appears on the living room walls, as well as the artistry built upon a harmony between monochrome and the Trabant vehicle’s colour. The car’s lights and custom-designed light fixtures lend the space a pleasant and homey atmosphere.
The flat is air-conditioned and includes a fully-equipped kitchen. Guests are greeted with NESPRESSO coffee, cold soft drinks and fruit. The terrace overlooks a pedestrian thoroughfare, not to mention the city’s most famous sweet shop. Located in the heart of downtown Budapest, the flat is only a few minutes’ stroll from the Danube shore and the city’s nightlife.
We love games, and we are happy when guests join in our fun. One such opportunity is provided by a pinball machine from the 70s, in its original condition.
For those who wish to spend their time in the heart of the Budapest, the flat provides a home-like environment at the entrance to the city’s entertainment quarter. The bedroom features a specially-designed and custom-made double bed, while the living room includes a convertible settee. In addition, guests may make use of two quite comfortable mattresses.
The apartment doubles as a modern art gallery. The artists who helped create the space periodically rotate their works on display, so the site maintains its cutting-edge atmosphere." - Gabor Szego
